Brad Williams Endorses Jeff Semon for Congress in the Massachusetts Fifth District

by: Jeff in 2012

Wed Apr 04, 2012 at 12:16:29 PM EDT

Lexington, MA – 5th District Congressional Candidate Jeff Semon is proud to announce that Boston Republican City Committee Chairman Brad Williams has endorsed his candidacy. Semon is running to restore fiscal responsibility to Washington and return robust economic growth to America.

Williams was the 2010 Republican nominee for State Senate in the Norfolk & Suffolk district and is the current State Committeeman for the district. “We need leaders like Jeff Semon who can say ‘no’ to higher taxes, deficits and debt and ‘yes’ to jobs, responsible government, liberty and energy independence.” Williams said.

Jeff has received significant national exposure including an interview with the American Thinker and, most recently, his op-ed was published in Human Events (Ronald Reagan’s favorite newspaper) next to luminaries such as Rep. Paul Ryan and Thomas Sowell.

Williams added: “Our problems today are daunting and numerous. We need new leaders with private sector experience to work on addressing these problems, not the career politicians who helped create them in the first place. Even more importantly, we need elected officials who understand basic economic principles and the devastating impact that out-of-control debt and deficits will have on our nation’s future.”

“I am honored to have Brad’s endorsement. He has been a leader in not only the Republican Party, but across the Greater Boston area and has worked tirelessly to help Massachusetts.” Semon said. Jeff Semon is looking to unseat Democrat Ed Markey who was elected in 1976, the year Semon was born.

Jeff Semon (pronounced Simone) is a Candidate for US Congress in what is currently the 5th Congressional District. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst - School of Management, Mr. Semon is a senior business consultant. He and his wife Nicole live in Lexington and recently had their first child, Eleanor in December. His campaign website is http://www.Jeffin2012.com
