Rob is completely full of it when he says that "By the end of the month of July 2012, Barack Obama is expected to sign the UN Small Arms Treaty." The treaty hasn't even been drafted yet. The conference to negotiate some of the proposed terms hasn't even been concluded yet. Hence the letter's reference to "as the treaty process continues."

Treaties take eons to negotiate, draft and ratify. Of course regardless of its terms (which, again, have yet to be determined), such a treaty could never override or abrogate any aspect of the Second Amendment. Everyone should take a deep breath.
