2. LG Murray to chair Governor's Council Meeting on Sexual and Domestic Violence
This afternoon the Governor's Council will be focused on Domestic and Sexual Violence. This is a great opportunity for the council to grill the Lieutenant Governor on the Patrick Administration's handing of the allegations surrounding Carl Stanley McGee. McGee as you will recall was accused of sexually assaulting a 15 year old boy in a steam room in Florida, and was allowed to return to work for Governor Patrick without any substantial review. He later settled with the boy's family, for what has been termed by a lawyer with knowledge, as in the neighborhood of ten times the average annual salary of an average American.
The Pioneer Institute continues its fight against the Jones-Patrick healthcare payment reform law. The have released an infographic showing what this law does.
4. Boston Talk Radio Earthquake
Rush Limbaugh is moving back to AM 680 WRKO and Talk 1200 is reportedly firing both Jeff Katz and Jay Severin. Katz has been a strong supporter of what we do here at Red Mass Group and will be missed. The Boston Herald has the story.
