The Eagle Tribune is reporting that, in Haverhill, this weekend will be the Massachusetts Native American Pow Wow.
Immerse yourself in Native American culture while experiencing the foods, music, dance, storytelling and other traditions that are part of this popular family event which takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Plug Pond recreational area. Gates open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.
"This event is presented by Native Americans, which therefore adds to its authenticity," said Anthony "Skyhawk" Silva of Stoughton, a board member of the center.
This brings up a number of questions. Will there be a chow table? will they be serving something with tomato mayonnaise a la Warren?
Will Elizabeth Warren be going, in the hopes of "meeting people like her"?
Only time will tell. |
