Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley is joining Congressman John Tierney for a fundraiser Monday morning. With the dark cloud of ethical questions hanging over Tierney's head, it's unbelievable that the Attorney General would associate herself with him, let alone raise money for him! Maybe Attorney General Coakley doesn't know...
Congressman John Tierney has failed to file at least $223,000 in spousal income to the House Ethics committee;
Congressman Tierney and his wife accepted this money from his brothers-in-law, who are accused of running an illegal offshore gambling ring in Antigua;
Now, Congressman Tierney is trying to manipulate his debates so that he does not have to answer to the people he serves on these questionable activities.
Congressman Tierney doesn't seem to want to answer any questions, but maybe Attorney General Coakley will.
Attorney General Coakley, as the chief law enforcer for our Commonwealth, if you were aware of the ethical firestorm surrounding Congressman Tierney, would you still have agreed to host a fundraiser for him?
