Pro Scott Brown Super-PAC launches

by: Rob "EaBo Clipper" Eno

Tue Oct 09, 2012 at 13:06:39 PM EDT

Today a, Massachusetts based, pro-Scott Brown SuperPAC launched to counter the $6,000,000 in outside spending done on behalf of Elizabeth Warren.  The SuperPac is named America 360 and can be found on the web at MyAmerica360.com.

Doing new media for the SuperPAC is Swiftcurrent Strategies, headed by Rob Willington.  Swiftcurrent, the original new media consultants to the Scott Brown campaign, stopped working with the Brown Campaign around New Years Day 2012.

They've released their first video.

9 outside groups, many funded by George Soros, and allies are working to elect Elizabeth Warren.  They're mission is to counter this.

Press Release after the jump

Rob "EaBo Clipper" Eno :: Pro Scott Brown Super-PAC launches
new organization has launched in Massachusetts to counter the massive number of outside groups and funds that are supporting Elizabeth Warren for US Senate. America 360 was formed to support Scott Brown's efforts for re-election as he has been an effective, independent voice for Massachusetts. To date, there are 9 outside groups that have spent over $6 million dollars combined attacking Scott Brown and supporting the distorted record of Elizabeth Warren.

"Elizabeth Warren has been relying on outside groups to do much of her work," said Robert Willington. "We believe it's important to counter these groups in the final month by promoting Senator Brown's independent and effective leadership while shining a light on Professor Warren's disturbing pattern of not being wholly honest and open with the public."

Professor Warren has failed to disclose how she spent taxpayer money while on the TARP Committee, failed to fully disclose who she has worked for or represented as an attorney, and has famously changed her history about her heritage.

Another Group (0.00 / 0)
I have seen at least one anti Brown mailing from Women Vote (www.womenvoteproject.org) which is Emily's List making it 10 groups.

This is the Gulf of Tonkin incident of the Senate race... (0.00 / 0)
Here is the agreement.  It clearly bans outside broadcast, cable, and online advertising by outside groups.  Most of the "offenses" cited by 360 are not included in "The Peoples' Pledge".

Will the bogus charges in this video be used as justification by 360 to really break the pledge with broadcast or online ads?

Exactly, Mr. Malarkey (0.00 / 0)
Where to begin?

The agreement, which is one of the most amazing things in politics today, does not cover all kinds of involvement. Only the named items. So all those things outside of that agreement don't matter.

For the edge cases, why not contact the candidates? They have successfully called out violations so far.

And as for the they-did-it defense - are we really going to let our own ethics be dictated by people we do not respect? If the agreement is dead, let the candidates say so and then we can do what we want.

As for the issue of whether Rob Willington and friends doing a super PAC is somehow a case of not coordinating with the Brown people...(In this little party in this little state, the top GOP people are all pals and all have their fingers in the same pies.) However, these are very competent people and I am confident that the law is being followed. But.... hmmmmm. :-/

Oh - and I thought the video was great! (Rob is pretty good at this stuff.)
