Cellucci Endorsement for Brown

I remember during January 2010, Governor Cellucci was on the radio recalling how he walked into Faneuil Hall and finding then Senator Scott Brown having lunch alone. Cellucci told the radio host that Scott Brown had told him how he was going to beat AG Martha Coakley. Brown knew what was happening on the ground. He convinced Cellucci, a pol with great instincts, at that point.

Cellucci is right to point out the natural state of Massachusetts Republicans with electoral prospects: fiscally conservative and socially moderate. Yep they're maligned as R.I.N.Os by folks who don't know MA political history including a portion of the Tea Party movement.

But they are Republicans who get elected by stupendous crossover appeal to independents. Take note.

This ad speaks to independents adeptly.
