Online advertising is covered under the People's Pledge. Specifically on-line advertising that mentions either Scott Brown or Elizabeth Warren, that is not paid for by either of these two campaigns. Scott Brown has paid 1/2 of a small internet run by an outside group to charity, as required by the Peoples Pledge. But since that early violation, the pledge has held.
Could anyone have predicted that the Barack Obama campaign would be the first one, since both campaigns clamped down in the spring, to break the People's Pledge? Well he was. Here's the proof.
Yesterday, October 17, 2012, was the last day to register in Massachusetts for the November 6, 2012 election. The Barack Obama campaign ran ads letting people know this. One of the places they ran ads was facebook. This was the ad:

This is a paid ad, not run by the Warren Campaign on the internet asking people to support Elizabeth Warren by registering to vote. It is a violation of the People's Pledge.
