They have a system that's made for cheating....for discounting votes.....and it worked well.

Who would look to such a man for leadership?
Sad times indeed.

They will not look to franken for leadership. (5.00 / 1)
Nor will they look to franken for intellect.

They will only look to franken for cloture.

I am sure the "Supreme Court chooses Bush" headlines (0.00 / 0)
from election year 2000 can all be recycled now.  Any minute now the MSM will publish hundreds of outraged opinions of how the Supreme Court shouldn't be involved in the election process.  The election was stolen, etc, etc, etc.

Here it comes.......

Not Likely (0.00 / 0)
But there are still a lot of crackpot dead-enders out there, insisting that the 2000 election "got stoled".

It is being rehashed today in some of the usual playpens -  as an inoculation of sorts - to preempt speculation about the franken/Coleman fiasco.

Still not there (0.00 / 0)
Even though Franken has won the court battle and is headed to the Senate this is not a filibuster-proof majority yet.  Both Robert Byrd and Ted Kennedy have been out of action and their future is uncertain.

There is also no unanimity on large issues like cap-and-trade and healthcare amongst the Dem Senators who are currently debating the proposals.  How much they'll succumb to pressure from the Whitehouse remains to be seen.

Lest we forget during the break these guys go back to their districts and have to actually come in contact with the folks they represent, and many are not happy with the "Change we can believe in"
