Massachusetts has the highest per capita debt in the nation at a whopping $10,504 per person. Public unions fight for limitless job security, higher salaries, and a pension system that is bankrupting the commonwealth.
They are also fighting for Richard Tisei. Tisei has received the highest rating from the Massachusetts Teachers Association of any Republican in the House or Senate at 84%. According to OCPF, during the 2007-2008 election cycle MTA's PAC dolled out $27,485.01 at a maximum of $500. Last November, most Republican candidates for office were fighting Democrat opponents bankrolled by the MTA. The MTA also donated directly to the Committee For A Democratic Senate helping all Democrat candidates defeat all Republican candidates for office.
Richard Tisei stood alone as the only Senate Republican candidate they donated to.
