And I'll say it again...we're all talking about Scott Brown, and so are most of the folks at BMG.  Like their going to change someone's mind?  They know all but a couple non conformists voters are voting Coakley over there.  So who are they trying to convince?

As they say...when you're in a hole the first thing to do is STOP DIGGING.

I stand corrected...there was one post over there recently on the front page in favor of Coakley....I think it went "Yeah it sucks....you have to vote Coakley"...OUTSTANDING ENDORSEMENT!

-She COULD have vigorously prosecuted a cop that raped a 23 month old with a hot curling iron.....10 months later, her replacement secured an indictment.  She could ALSO have asked for bail for the creep due to the severity of the crime committed.
How long does it take to get an indictment for raping a little girl with a hot curling iron.....when it's vigorously persued?

-She COULD have vigorously prosecuted pedophile priest Father Goeghan instead of securing for him 1 year of probation, no arrest record, no charges filed.....leaving him to diddle little boys for another 6+ years.

Garrett, I appreciate your tone around here, sometimes...far more sensible than many here...but we are still of completely different mind sets....and frankly your questions have the hyperbolic quality of "when did you stop beating your wife?" and you're more looking for a gotcha than to have a serious discussion of the issues.  But we're 5 days out and serious discussions of issues is the first casualty of a political campaign.

Tell me why I should consider voting for Coakley?

Bearing in mind that I'm no fan of the current healthcare bill, I think the cap-n-trade scheme is yet another reach-around for preferred industries, and that I see even more disarray in DC since congress has had their overwhelming majority.

Why would I vote for someone who in my opinion did at best has had marginal performance as AG?

Everyone has been all too willing to explain why I should not vote Brown, but so far, no one has told me why to vote Coakley....

To your point, there are lots of pro-Coakley posts on BMG: Jim McGovern's today, David's favorable review of the Phoenix endorsement.

I know with so much activity at BMG, it can be hard to keep up.

People didn't know who Scott Brown was. Now, they are starting to understand, as your helpful list of talking points  illustrates.
