It's on! (0.00 / 0)

It's on like Donkey Kong.

I'm confused... (0.00 / 0)
...is Malone "MC'ing the Event, or is he the "Headliner".

Being the MC is one thing, but the MC isn't the main attraction.

i.e. is Malone the "host" or is he  the Keynote speaker?

Bad choice of a headline.  Far as I can tell, the featured speaker is the Comedian.

They like me, they really, really like me!

State Committee members (0.00 / 0)

Both Sate Committee members in the district are with my republican rival.  onumerous  times that notices went out for RTC meetings in those towns our notices came in blank.  I ran in that district for Senate in 1990 and lost to Senator Hedlund by 3 votes in a recount.  lived there for 31 years; weymouth, scituate and cohasset.  served on the Cohasset and Scituate RTCs while living there.  supported local candidates with funds and resources.   Let the People decide.

And then you ran as Deval Patrick's wingman (0.00 / 0)
If you expected a warm reception in Republican circles after saying that you'd vote for the Democrat over the Republican candidate in 2006, you're not very perceptive.

At the risk of (4.00 / 3)
butting in....I believe that issue was already addressed.  The response was given to the question (paraphrasing) "If you had to pick a candidate during the DEM primary, who would it be?"...unless I recall the context incorrectly (which is always possible).

It's asking Brown "If you could only pick from Coakley or Capuano, who would you choose?".  The answer is easy if you will be facing the winner....you pick the one you perceive to be weaker or less electable and increase your own chances.

Im pretty sure that question was not posed about the Democratic Primary.

OK, now I'm confused (0.00 / 0)

It's always possible that I have two different quotes/situations confused...but that's what i was referring to.

BTW...change of subject....I got the Attleboro Precinct results last week for the Brown/Coakley race.  what's you pleasure...email, postal?

Not Correct (0.00 / 0)

Be accurate in what you post.  Never said it and never would.  What is it about people that they have to sully the process to make a point.  Have been an avid Republican all my life except in 2006 when it was evident the party did not want any competition.   Does right matter to you in the political process or if the party says it, it has to be right.  why is it that we're down to 11% of registered voters.  Working to attract fiscal conservatives to the process and win over the Citizen Patriot Groups ---ALL of them.  We need every vote we can muster.  What is it that you have done for the party and our candidates.  please list how much you have supported our candidates at the local level.  ever run for office?  ever done anything for a candidate except hide like a coward behind a name and let your poison fly ?  what kind of person are you?  tell us who you are so we can kneel and bow at your strength.

Your words (2.50 / 2)
"GOP isn't buying Mihos: Republicans won't forget his betrayal"
By Eric Fehrnstrom, Wednesday, May 13, 2009, www.bostonherald.com - Op-Ed

During the 2006 Massachusetts governor's race, Republican-turned-independent Christy Mihos was asked who he'd vote for if he couldn't vote for himself. "Probably Deval. Yeah, I like Deval," Mihos said.

EF ? (0.00 / 0)
you quote EF ?  that is not the question that was asked and you have totally taken it out of context.  be fair if you can Mr. Bravesomething.   That's my problem with these insiders.  Mitt is about to leave and he appoints EF to a position in his hometown that would assure him of a huge pension if he got the Board position.  EF who made a career in state government with Malone/Romney sets off a firestorm that Mitt had to remove the nomination.  The time in a non-paying job would have boosted his pension years to help him big time with the, of course PENSION.  how much have you given to Republican candidates B ---come on a mover and shaker like you must have millions of favors out there for your support.

I disagree (5.00 / 1)
Although they are liked and respected The state committee lacks influence in Plymouth County.

Yes... (0.00 / 0)
Previous to Rick Greeley the previous committeeman never left Brockton.

Hopefully with Rick and Jeannie, that will change.

They are good people.

It's a pleasure (0.00 / 0)
It's a pleasure to work along side Rick Greeley & Jeanie Falcone from your district.  Ditto my predecessor as the regional chairman, John Cafferty.

All-in-all, I think we have a pretty darn good bunch of State Committee members in Region 5, then again they come from & represent a good crop of local committees and their activists.

I agree and disagree with you. (0.00 / 0)
I agree the state committee lacks influence but I disagree with you on the scope, it lacks influence through out the state.

[ Parent ]
What interests me is that they feel able to invite ALL the CONGRESSIONAL primary candidates - but are afraid to invite all the Gubernatorial ones. Says a lot about their Gov. candidate. (5.00 / 2)

In Plymouth County the state committee men and women attend events. They don't plan or influence them

[ Parent ]
This statement is a ridiculous as excepting a check from Christy (0.00 / 0)
You have no idea, if Baker knew that "Cant pay my bills Mihos" was invited or not. I do not know either but I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, plus Christy was invited when a chair heard about the mix up.

East bound and down, loaded up and truckin', we're gonna do what they say can't be done. We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there. I'm east bound, just watch ol' "Bandit" run.

Christy. (2.50 / 2)
Why don't you just run a free event at the hall right next door and try to get people at the door of the GOP8/Plymouth County GOP event...

After all that's what you pulled at the Brockton ROX/State Committee event you were invited to last year?

Perhaps screwing up MassGOP events causes the State Committee people in that area to not support you.

I was there (0.00 / 0)
I have friends who attended the event today in Scituate, I could not attend due to health reasons and the poor weather, but my friends told me that it was a great event and even funnier than any of the Boston Breakfast's they have seen in the past. According to them, the comedian Mr. Sweeney was hilarious, as was Baker, Tisei, Malone, Hedlund and all the others. The highlights to them were the comedian, DA Cruz, Tisei, and a very emotionally moving speech by Hussy I believe they said.

I do feel bad about one thing, from what I hear Christy could not cover the gas money to get there! Ha Ha Ha (Ok that part was added by me) Happy St. Patrick's Day!
