Baker-Tisei outraise all other candidates combined close to 3/4 $1,000,000 in March

by: Rob "EaBo Clipper" Eno

Thu Apr 01, 2010 at 07:57:52 AM EDT

(Team Cahill has informed me that they just deposited another $65,807 today for last month.  That Brings their total up. However Baker and Tisei have still outraised all other candidates combined. - promoted by Rob "EaBo Clipper" Eno)

The ticket of Charlie Baker and Richard Tisei raised $733,869 in the month of March according to the Office of Campaign and Political finance deposit reports as of last night.  This figure includes approximately $592K raised by Charlie Baker and approximately $141K raised by Richard Tisei.  With this total they have outraised all of the other declared candidates for governor and lieutenant governor combined.

The dynamic supposedly conservative duo of Tim Cahill and Paul Loscocco raised a combined total of $80,054.  $75,631 of that total came from Tim Cahill's fundraising while Loscocco raised the balance.  The $80,054 is less than the down ballot treasurer candidate Karyn Polito raised in March.

The Democratic team of Deval Patrick and Tim Murray raised a combined total of $444,177.61.  The Patrick Committee raised $308K of that amount with Tim Murray raising the balance.

The Christy Mihos campaign raised $8,281, which does not include a deposit report for March 31, 2010 in which Mihos needed to deposit his convention fee. Expect that number to rise.  Grace Ross has not filed deposit reports yet this month but her bank report shows $4,880 in deposits for the first half of the month.  Dr. Jill Stein also has not filed deposit reports but her bank report for the first 15 days shows a total raised of $14,281 raised.

The total raised by all the candidates for LG and Governor that are not Charlie Baker and Richard Tisei was $551K  This is $180K less than what Richard Tisei and Charlie Baker raised.  The momentum is with Richard and Charlie.  With Tim Cahill's recent missteps it is looking more and more like a two man race between Baker and Patrick this fall.  In that two man matchup my money is on Baker.

This is some great news to hear, they have shown they are the team to beat. Even better is that Charlie Out raised all other candidates and Richard our LG candidate out raised not only the other LG Candidates but he also out raised four candidates for Governor. This only reaffirms that Charlie will be sitting in the corner  office come November. I am proud to say i am a Charlie Baker & Richard Tisei Republican.

Was he just an "INO?"

Guess the new BMG management is not as efficient as the prior private sector management.

I have a feeling that the RMGers who are with Baker Inc. are headed for disappointment this fall. Oh yes. Disappointment …. With a "D" everyone! (0.00 / 0)
Prediction ...... BAM!
Let me tell you how this one ends.  It ends with the Golden Boy Charlie Bravo and his band of tuxedo wearing henchmen crying like little girls after Mihos defeats them in the Primary.  You see, despite all the jibba jabba on this site, Charlie Bravo has only got 2 things going for him

A.) More republican than that Democrat guy running as an Independent.

B.) Has lots of money.  Lots and lots of money, which makes him a contender.  He can buy ads, and signs, and maybe even buy his way out of his involvement in the Big Dig.

Mihose kicking ass in the Primary ..... BOOM!
Mihos scoring 30% of the delegates will be the begining of the end for the Golden Boy Charlie Bravo.  Oh yes!

Bags of cash were enough to get the majority of insiders on Bakers payroll ..... I mean Team, Bakers "Team." But during the Primaries the Golden Boy will have to talk directly to the people.  And that's when Christy strikes with cat-like reflexes.....on the stump and at the podium.  Yes, I believe in a debate, or anywhere on earth where Baker has to speak he is DONE.  His hands will be all over the place, And that sour puss you saw on Baker's face (when he was asked about Cahill running) will hardly be his most embarrassing moment in this campaign.  Baker versus Mihos in a speaking engagement ..... It's Mihos all the way.

My 2 cents ..... and I'm always right.

Baker is as concerned with Mihos... (0.00 / 0)
As Scott Brown was with Jack E. Robinson.....maybe even less

There's a 50/50 chance Mihos doesn't even get through the convention. However, 30% of the delegates? That's laughable.

[hidden comment] Baker is as concerned with Mihos... (0.00 / 3)
As Tisei is concerned with letting any perverted man dressed like a woman into the bathroom to see/abuse your wife/daughter.

There's a 50/50 chance Tisei announces he supports pederast marriage equality in 2011. More then 30% of democrats support him.

Unfortunately this is not a laughing matter

Is Cahill having a bake sale this weekend? (0.00 / 0)
His disingenous populist message is falling flat.  Even his closest Quincy supporters (lawyers who are with him to the bitter end) know he can't win - and they've been saying so - in confidence of course...

I love how you pretend to be "in-the-know." Also it's nice to know that "They've been saying so - in confidence of course" and here you are in RMG writing it. You know loose lips sink ships buddy.
