On a roll

( - promoted by Mike "DD4RP" Rossettie)

RMG Friends,

Our campaign is rolling right now with offices open in Sandwich, Plymouth and Quincy. There are hundreds of calls being made every day, each one getting us closer to victory.

On Tuesday night, we opened our Quincy office. The office was packed with excited volunteers, and they all signed up to man the phones in the days and weeks ahead. (Click here for more on the office near you.) The excitement in the air at this event was awesome, and we have released a new web video to mark this occasion:

If you are from the northern part of the district, email tim@jeffperryforcongress.com to volunteer to make phone calls in the Quincy office.

I look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail.

Best,

Jeff

P.S. This Tuesday, my colleague Rep. Karyn Polito, candidate for state treasurer, will be joining us for a fundraiser at Tomatoes in Sandwich. There are more details on my website about this event.

The Perry Campaign is dynamic and attracting citizen support from all walks of life and all parties. Perry's blend of fiscal sanity and belief in the strength and wisdom of our Constitution is a true formula for success. His campaign seems to be way out front, and the momentum is with him.

The Momentum Builds (0.00 / 0)
The work that needs to be accomplished in DC will take a great deal of effort and energy. Jeff Perry has demonstrated that he is up to the task which you can sense that when you spend time with him on the campaign trail.

I believe that the energy that is building within the Perry team is reminiscent of the Brown campaign. With each passing week the momentum grows as more citizens educate themselves on Jeff Perry's long list of outstanding credentials. Once in DC it won't take Jeff long to establish himself as leader on national issues.

I agree, Jeff. The campaign is gaining speed every day! (0.00 / 0)
And AMERICA will be the better once you are in Washington!

We need more members of Congress who RESPECT THE CONSTITUTION - and we need to rid Congress of those who are in there only for personal political gain.

I envision Congressman Perry assuming a leading role in the 180 degree turnabout our country needs to survive!  Yes, indeed, Jeff...WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!!

Jeff Perry expands to Quincy (0.00 / 0)
Congrats on the new digs in Quincy!  By the looks of the video, I'd say you had a well attended grand opening there.

It's great to see your message and energy making news throughout the district.

If all the fine residents of the northern part of the district don't know yet what a gem you are, they will soon see the hard working, dedicated, ethical leader we have had here on the Cape for years and they too will welcome you with open arms.

This Congressional district will be blessed to have such a good man representing us in Washington.

Enthusiasm and Energy (5.00 / 1)
...as measured at the Quincy Office opening are very telling.  It seemed as if everyone was either dropping a check in the basket, filling out a volunteer form or both!  Perry's campaign is moving like a freight train to Victory in this most important Congressional race.  Jeff's work ethic is unmatched and his energy and passion are what we sorely need in DC, not some washed up has-been.  Lets keep our efforts behind Perry to conclude in an overwhelming victory in Fall elections.

I don't get it. (0.00 / 0)
I don't get the Perry love that is on here.  Joe Malone has a much longer proven record, with none of these negative news stories coming out every other day.

I am glad they are not going after each other, but I just think a Perry win sets us up for a loss in November.  Malone has won statewide twice already.

Glad we've got two serious challengers, but it seems one has so much more potential and such less baggage.

You would get it if... (0.00 / 0)
you met Jeff Perry. He's the most down-to-earth and humble politician I have ever met. Usually those qualities aren't displayed by people who are also as accomplished and articulate as Jeff is. He's really one of the sharpest speakers I have ever seen-- you rarely hear him say the same thing at every appearance, unlike other candidates. He's got the right instincts and knows how to present his views on all of the issues people care about right now-- illegal immigration, Obama's nationalization of healthcare, and government waste here in Massachusetts as well as on a national scale. Jeff promotes himself and his positions because he knows that he will truly represent us-- but is not one of these slick suits seeking every dime you've got. In fact, he tells supporters to not feel like they have to open their wallet to come to all his events. And he tends to draw so many supporters to all his events that even if only a fraction gave a donation, you can easily see why he's in the lead in terms of funds raised. Jeff's a fresh face-- Joe Malone was and is great, there is nothing I can say against him, and by the way, Jeff never mentions his opponents' names. But I am supporting Jeff because he's got the personal integrity, the ideological consistency, and the political grit to go to bat for me in Washington, DC, where it sometimes seems like they are asleep at the wheel. Jeff will join Scott Brown in figuring out how to make Washington work for us.

Any man who afflicts the human race with ideas must be prepared to see them misunderstood. - H. L. Mencken

I'm new to the board not to GOP circles (0.00 / 0)
I've met Jeff Perry a number of times, and have met Joe Malone a number of times.  Perry rings hollow to me.

Perry is more electable (0.00 / 0)
Joe Malone hasn't won an election in 16 years and the only time he has won was during a Republican landslide.  He's a retread politician from outside the district.

Jeff Perry was first elected defeating a Democratic incumbent and has been re-elected in a Democratic landslide year of 2008 with 70% of the vote.

In this district Jeff Perry has a much better, and more recent, history of electoral success.  Jeff Perry clearly gives us our best chance of winning.

Bob Hedlund for Minority Leader.

"Every day"? (0.00 / 0)
What negative news storIES come out everyday? You said it plural.....stories.....so I assume there's a handful of stories, with proven facts, that continue to come out.

Negative Politics (0.00 / 0)
Voters are sick of the negative mudslide campaigning that increasingly defines politics in our era. It drives some of the best potential candidates away from office because they know that newspapers can twist "stories" however they want to get their framed message across, its attrocious. That is one of Jeff Perry's best qualities, he refuses to talk about anyone else but himself because he knows that voters are tired of the negativity surrounding politics. Like Scott Brown, Perry just talks about why he is the best candiadate for our next representative in congresss. This common sense positive approach is one of the reasons why voters are so excited about his campaign, which will continue to build positive excitement and energy on its way to victory in November!

Proven facts? (0.00 / 0)
Really, you think any part of a campaign has anything to do with proven facts?

All I am saying is that the paper with the largest circulation in the state, and the paper that probably covers the second largest swath of the district have all run stories calling into question Perry's actions... voters read papers.

Malone doesn't have that sort of issue.

I am not anti-Perry, I just don't get the feeling that he is the second coming, like some people do.

Irrelevant (0.00 / 0)
"Malone doesn't have that sort of issue"   This is unclear, are you saying he doesn't have any skeletons, or that the papers aren't talking about them?

Either way the answer to my question doesn't make a difference because Perry will win with positivity. http://plymouthcountygop.com/s...

[ Parent ]
Win what? (0.00 / 0)
As I was talking about in another thread, I'd rather focus on winning the election not the primary.  Great, a room full of us like Perry... what about the 56% of unenrolled?  That is the whole ballgame to make an election victory happen.
