Clean Sweep Beacon Hill endorses Jim McKenna for Attorney General

Clean Sweep Beacon Hill, PAC Endorses Jim McKenna for Attorney General

Boston- Richard Whitney, Policy Director of Clean Sweep Beacon Hill Political Action Committee, today announced that Clean Sweep Beacon Hill PAC has endorsed Jim McKenna for Attorney General in the September 14 Primary and November election. Clean Sweep Beacon Hill is a bipartisan grassroots political action committee dedicated to ending the culture of incumbency and "politics as usual" in Massachusetts.
This endorsement follows a series of endorsements from various diverse groups that are now supporting Jim McKenna to become the next Attorney General of Massachusetts.
"We agree wholeheartedly with Jim McKenna that current laws need to be enforced,", said Mr. Whitney, "especially in regards to illegal immigration and government corruption.  Martha Coakley states 'It's not illegal to be illegal in Massachusetts.' Jim McKenna believes Martha Coakley is wrong and that the job of the Attorney General is to enforce the laws of the state."
In addition, "Jim McKenna is committed to uncovering and prosecuting political and government corruption in all branches of government.
Supporting independent-minded candidates like Jim McKenna is exactly why Clean Sweep Beacon Hill was created."
"We are pleased with the Clean Sweep Beacon Hill endorsement and thank them for their support. This endorsement directly reflects the frustration of voters across Massachusetts and across party lines." responded James McKenna. "Voters are tired of the Beacon Hill sentiment that some laws are OK to break. Government must first be trusted to be effective."
James McKenna is running a write-in campaign for the Republican Primary on September 14th. He needs to obtain 10,000 write-in votes in order to appear on the ballot opposing Martha Coakley in the November election.  For more information about James McKenna visit .
