Happy Fourth Anniversary Deval and Tim

by: Rob "EaBo Clipper" Eno

Mon Sep 13, 2010 at 07:46:48 AM EDT

Yesterday marked the fourth Anniversary of the Tim Cahill - Deval Patrick partnership.  On September 12, 2010 Tim Cahill endorsed Deval Patrick for his willingness to keep taxes high.  The Baker Campaign made a video to mark the occasion.

Happy Anniversary guys.

Did We Miss... (5.00 / 1)
The anniversary of Bill Weld - Baker's mentor - endorsing Barack Obama?

I'm sure that day has a special place in your heart, Rob.  And in Baker's.

Did I miss the Weld announcement that he is running for Governor? (0.00 / 0)

I'm sure Tim (0.00 / 0)
will be celebrating HIS vote 2 years ago for Obama on Nov. 2nd. Or did he vote for McCain or leave it blank?

G.O.P. Growth. Opportunity. Prosperity. For all Americans.

Are you just misinformed? (5.00 / 1)
Tim has said time and time again for MONTHS he did NOT vote for Obama, and did in fact vote for McCain.

He's said this on Howie Carr on a number of occasions, most recently this past week, and many times before that.

[ Parent ]
Coakley (0.00 / 0)
He did vote for Coakley - and will vote for her again.  Those are his values.

[ Parent ]
He voted for Scott Brown n/t (0.00 / 0)

[ Parent ]
No he didn't (0.00 / 0)
He voted in the Dem Primary last year - therefore he voted for Coakley in the primary - or maybe he'll admit to voting for Pags or someone else, but he didn't vote for Brown.

He voted for Coakley in 2006 - and he'll vote for her again tomorrow in the Dem Primary again.

On Howie Carr last week... (0.00 / 0)
Cahill stated that he voted for Coakley in the primary and Scott Brown in the general.

Nothing like hedging your bets. (5.00 / 2)
"Heads I win. Tails you lose." Such a man of conviction. Just the type I want as governor. It's almost like saying, "I admire your courage, Deval, in not lowering the income tax." and then running on lowering the income tax.

Tim Cahill: "Which way are the political winds blowing today?"

Cahill has one consistency. He's consistently opportunistic.

G.O.P. Growth. Opportunity. Prosperity. For all Americans.

Nightmare Year for Incumbents (0.00 / 0)
Cahill has been a Democrat officeholder since 1988 - that's back when Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd was still toiling for the Red Sox. Cahill picked the wrong year to pursue his pipe dream of becoming Governor...

Funny (5.00 / 1)
I thought this was actually pretty funny.  But on a more serious note - isn't anyone a little bit upset that Cahill will be voting for Martha Coakley tomorrow again - this will be at minimum for the 2nd time in one year.

McKenna needs every vote he can and a real conservative would want Martha Coakley out - this to me again proves that Cahill is in his heart of hearts a Dem.

For the first 10 seconds of that video (5.00 / 1)
I though they were going to kiss each other.

I remember how I cried when Tim took his vows.... I was a weeping, teary-eyed mess.....

I, Tim Cahill, take you, Deval Patrick, for my lawfully wedded Governor, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until the next election do us part.

I guess Tim's vows didn't really cover the 'for worse' or 'for poorer' part.  Things are now a lot worse, and everyone is a lot poorer.

We are headed for a 'Fiscal Cliff' and the country just elected a dope whose motto is 'Forward'.

Disgusting (0.00 / 0)
This ad is disgusting. Baker Camp has brought this election cycle to a new low in disgusting mudslinging filled with inaccurate facts and blasphemous accusations. Having so many Kerry Healey washups on your campaign i guess that must come with the territory, but that didn't work for her - at all, and i sure as hell hope you face the same numbers she did.  And the fact you're trying to ellude Tim and Deval are gay getting married is disgusting. Even for a RINO liberal like Charlie Baker this is a new low.

On a side note: Look at Tim's record - again, and again, he's proven the fact that he is a fiscal conservative and Reagan  Democrat for years, since he was elected to his first office in Quincy.

Gay getting married? ???? (0.00 / 0)
This is the most bizarre interpretation of a creative campaign ad I've ever read.
No, see, EJD, the point is that two guys who are supposedly running against each other have been supportive of each other. Not everything is about sex... :~)

Gay marriage popped into my head too. (0.00 / 0)

Tim Cahill and Deval Patrick are gay? (0.00 / 0)
Why am I just learning this now?

We are headed for a 'Fiscal Cliff' and the country just elected a dope whose motto is 'Forward'.

This has to be... (5.00 / 1)
One of the most disingenuous, most inaccurate political ads I have ever seen. Baker must be getting very desperate.

Not sure this particular blessing is evenly distributed within the human race.

Agreed. (0.00 / 0)
This and the Deval/John Adams video really show that they are scraping the bottom of the barrel.

If you agree that it's sourced how can it be inaccurate?  It is completely accurate mainly because it's sourced.
