Warren Press Secretary played Secret Service and said some Bush voters "live in cardboard shacks"

by: Rob "EaBo Clipper" Eno

Thu Jun 21, 2012 at 15:54:05 PM EDT

Intrepid RMG commenter Vote3rdPartyNow found a couple of gems about Elizabeth Warren's press secretary today.  Mainly that while on the John Edwards campaign in 2004 she played Secret Service agent, and said Bush voters "live in cardboard shacks".

Alethea was also on John Edwards team as a secret service agent.. (0.00 / 0)
Per this Tufts Daily article.

Don't be fooled by the Secret Service pin she wears as she escorts senator John Edwards onto his campaign bus: 2002 Tufts graduate Alethea Pieters is anything but your stereotypical silent Secret Service agent.

"As you can probably tell, I'm a talker," laughs Pieters, who has taken several leaves of absence from her job as a budget analyst for the Massachusetts Senate Ways and Means Committee in order to work with the Kerry-Edwards campaign.

Read this piece of rubbish regarding her impression of swing state voters.

Touring with Edwards has given Pieters a great deal of insight into the political make-up of the so-called swing states. "These families are living in cardboard shacks, and yet some of them are Bush supporters, because their priorities are based on voting for those they think share the same faith, even though the Democrats are more likely to fund services that will actually help them," she said.

Swing state voters live in cardboard boxes?  Really?

So she worked for one total phony named John Edwards, and now works for another total phony named Elizabeth Warren.  Not a very good judge of human character, is she?

She is a secret service agent and her boss is a Cherokee.  Right?

Reading the rest of the original Tuft's article one sees that she goes into detail about what her "secret service" duties included going undercover at ice cream stands to find out if the ice cream was made in Ohio.
