Bush actively supported a weak dollar, passed a Keynesian stimulus package, passed huge government bailouts, increased domestic discressionary spending faster than Clinton, turned a budget surplus into a deficit, was the first Republican President to enact a new government entitlement, doubled the cost of the Department of Education, created a Department of Homeland Security, and wasted trillions in foriegn entanglements.... and didn't even want conservative judges on the bench.
His big government ways also cost us our majorities in both houses of Congress and lead to a President Obama. This is what happens when people blindly follow the letter (R) and ignore principle.
A "Return to the policies of Bush?" Not on your life. I want a real Constitutional Conservative. "I supported President Obama in 2008." - Gabriel Gomez
These are the players that promoted and passed this so quickly they didn't even care to know the details. They were not about to gamble with this opportunity, they just passed the bill it and let the cards fall, much like Obama just did again with his recent selective imigration waiver. (OK, sorry, he didn't include Congress on this one)
We can play the domino effect all the way back to Washington or whomever was President when the SCOTUS was first formed, it doesn't make any difference, who is sitting on the Bench, this group of Socialists was going to pass this unfunded legislation and it would of stood up as a new tax irrespective on who was on the SCOTUS.
Now its up to the States!
Lets save blaming Bush for Obama's failed financial policies.
This gives the States some leverage on how far they have to go implementing the federal program.
That's what I understood the sources to mean.
I think we can all agree that Reagan's policies would not meet a conservative litmus test in 2012.
All the conservatives failed in this cycle's primary, and there were plenty to choose from.
Do you ever think that maybe you're chasing something/somone that doesn' exist?
This is twice now we've snatched defeat from the jaws of a conservative victory. We're lining our ducks up for a third try now. At what cost?
We need to be smarter and less reactionary than this.
And now Romney is in a precarious position to argue for 100% repeal of his signature legislation in this state?
Guess I'm just another RINO. The witch hunt is working out especially well in this state, is it not?
Do you remember the highschool cheer leaders that got drunk and made a semi sex tape only they were wearing bra's ... under their shirts? That was Danvers High. Or remember that cop that smoked weed with his wife and called 911 thinking he OD'd? That was some other couple that made the news because the guy was a cop. But in happened in Danvers to a guy that was school teacher. He made it into the Salem News though.
One kid in Danvers dug a huge hole in the ground and the cops and fire dept found out about it and made the kid fill it in and the kid got hurt filling IN the hole.
And the worst thing that I ever saw in Danvers was when I was a kid. My big brother took me to a Danvers High Football Game on Halloween under the lights. And during the game 2 kids dressed in KKK sheets ran across the field, jumped the fence, and ran into the woods! My brother started laughing then stopped and told me not to laugh. But I couldn't stop because all his friends kept jabbing me and laughing in my ear. I just couldn't stop laughing at how friggin crazy that stunt was. Those kids were dead if they got caught. And this sounds crazy, but I still think the best athletes on that field that night were not the football players. It was the 2 shit heads that ran across the field wearing KKK sheets. If those kids got caught they were going to get killed by their parents, the cops, probably the 2 black kids that went to Danvers High, and I'm sure the teachers would hold a grudge against thekids until hey graduated.

Re-elect Obama, the greatest tax raiser in the history of the planet.
Elizabeth Warren: a bankruptcy professor, bankrupt of ideas
This might be the paradigm that not only knocks Obama out of office, it may very well help with Congress seats which in turn provides the ingredients necessary to overturn Obamacare in 2013.
I like your thought process!
