Let's get that $32T back

A report from the Guardian that rich people are holding $32Trillion in offshore tax havens.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/busi...

Response from the liberals, let's tax that money.

Better response: let's get that money back and invested in the USA. Why are these rich people parking their money in corrupt economies like China and Russia? is it because the USA has the heaviest corporate taxes among developed nations and is threatening to get worse under Obama II?

Imagine what the US economy would look like with an additional $30 Trillion invested in our productive companies. How about 3% unemployment? We would be so much better off even if we collected 0% taxes from that money.

What someone (0.00 / 0)
does with their cash is of ZERO concern to me.

"I acknowledge having racist and classist and sexist feelings of white male superiority." -John Howard

I might be mistaken, but........... (0.00 / 0)
Isn't the Gross Domestic Product in the USA about $16 Trillion?  If so, how can there possibly be $32 Trillion parked offshore and our economy still standing?

I don't believe the numbers and would need to see some proof before placing any confidence in this matter.

-Is there money overseas?  YES!
-Would it be nice to have it back home and part of our economy?  YES!
-Do liberals want it back here so they can tax it?  YES!
-Is it currently outside the country because people are trying to prevent it from being taxed?  YES!
-Is this part of Obama's class warfare re election campaign?  YES!

We are headed for a 'Fiscal Cliff' and the country just elected a dope whose motto is 'Forward'.
