Media should ask ProgressMass when they plan on registering in Massachusetts today

by: Rob "EaBo Clipper" Eno

Mon Aug 27, 2012 at 10:34:58 AM EDT

Today, ProgressMass will be holding a cutesy press conference in front of the Scott Brown Headquarters.  They will apparently be handing out blank IRS forms for Scott Brown to give to Mitt Romney.

"Romneys for Brown" to Offer Send-Off as Republican Scott Brown Heads to Republican National Convention
Coalition to Deliver "Republican Convention Care Package" to Brown Campaign HQ
WHAT:    "Romneys for Brown" will hold a stand-out outside of Brown Campaign Headquarters, and highlight aspects of the Mitt Romney economic philosophy, which Republican Scott Brown claims to support.
"Romneys for Brown" will also deliver a "Republican Convention Care Package" to Brown Campaign HQ, for Senator Scott Brown to bring with him to Tampa, Florida.  The care package will contain several items, including: a "Scott Brown ♥ Romney/Ryan" rubber stamp; blank IRS Form 1040 tax forms for Brown to share with Romney; and numerous other items of political significance, all of which will be displayed in a brief press conference outside of Brown HQ before delivery.
WHERE:    Outside of Brown Campaign Headquarters 337 Summer Street, Boston
WHEN:    Monday, August 27, 2012

That's rich because ProgressMass is still a Colorado Astroturf outfit and has not yet filed in Massachusetts as a 501(c)4, as the previously claimed.  Red Mass Group had the story back in June of this year.  In June, ProgressMass said they were still putting together a Board and anticipated filing soon.  It's two months later.

As a public service to ProgressMass we are making the forms they need to file available here.  They can download them at the Secretary of State's website. Or just print the embedded form after the jump.
