To the casual observer this is more than just a guy [Festus] welching on a bet.  

It's about integrity and honor.  It's about a guy who would be happy to watch someone else suffer the consequences of losing a bet knowing full well that if he lost he would say 'fuck it' I ain't going anywhere.  

A man that can be called a dishonerable liar, a welcher, and a fraud over a thousand times and not even blink, not even acknowledge the welch, and not even feel a thing.  

Blows my mind.

In context, my words are right in line...Nate and Rob whined about a taxi driver harassing a R Tracker with outrage, yet they were silent when, earlier inthe year, a Dem racker was also harassed.  They lack courage to stand up (or stand down) to both instances...hence the "coward" label.

As for the smear artist...just following the observations of David Bernstein of the Phoenix...sometimes the truth hurts.

Bernstein is the same guy that said RedMassGroup would never survive ... and that was like 5 years ago.  This blog/EaBo went from incompetent to smear machine in record time!  LOL - Festus sober up! David Bernstein doesn't know shit about RedMassGroup or EaBo.

they just say convention attendees.  They don't identify them, most reports don't even say who they are.  Now the behavior is repulsive, but could it have been democratic plants that did this?  Street theater?  We dont' even know if they were delegates or alternates, or just "attendees".  Anybody in that hall is an attendee.

...building presumptions on conjecture.  Rob, you and I don't really know what happened.  Sure in our minds we can formulate any theory of who it was.  My comment reflected the little facts we know--several sources, including the RNC confirmed the incident happened.  Your "speculation" often turned to "facts" the next time you write it.  Me, I try and sticks with the facts I have and not speculate...but if you really want to know what I'm thinking (and big surprise, it is completely opposite of your speculation):  Given the RNC confirmed the incident and it was such a serious issue, IF it were ANYBODY other than people related to the GOP (volunteers, Alternates, ect) they would have pushed that angle big time.  Of course the RNC may not even know who it was, only that it happened...I concede that, because that's what I do when I don't have the facts...something your incapable of doing.

Ya know, its kinda like when all the morning news agencies reported that the Batman killer was linked to the Tea Party...  Except of course that I am not a paid professional newsguy and not held to the same high standards...

Its also kinda like when Sen Harry Reid said that Mitt Romney probably did not pay taxes for ten years.  Except I am not the Democrat Party leader of the United States Senate passing along a rumor...  I am not held to his high standard either.

We can piss off so many BMGers by making posts like "5 things you should know" .... then list 6 things!

Or say something like hey I got 2 words for you ... SHUT THE HELL UP!

or when they tally the #'s on the Brown/Warren race I can say something like .... WAIT! Brown 52 / Warren 47 ??? That comes out to 109!  That's voter fraud!  Where did these extra votes come from huh!
