Governor Patrick promise robust growth plan to be announced in January

by: gary

(Really taxes, after the election.  I'm shocked
- promoted by Rob "EaBo Clipper" Eno
)

Oops, scratch that.  He actually said a plan that includes "robust taxes".

By Jan. 7, the administration will deliver a proposal calling for robust taxes and more precisely detailing the gap between what is currently spent and what is needed to bring the state's roads, bridges, and transit systems into good condition and keep them there.

It's such a good idea, I can't believe he didn't bring it up before November's election.

Dang, good lead-in Gary. I totally fell for it... (0.00 / 0)
Deval Patrick feels it is important to have good roads, bridges and public transportation systems so people can:

A) Get to the unemployment office with a smooth ride.
B) Leave Massachusetts for greener pastures in style.
C) Buy stuff in New Hampshire where there is no sales tax.
D) Stop from being landlocked in Western MA.
E) All of the above...

We are headed for a 'Fiscal Cliff' and the country just elected a dope whose motto is 'Forward'.

How I miss the good old days... (0.00 / 0)
...when V3PN was so idealistic when he wrote, "Let's move away from 'Liawatha' nonissues and start talking about real issues.  Note: I know I am among the worst of those people who talk about 'Liawatha' issues, but no more."
