Mike Huckabee is on the right track:"We ask why there's violence in our school but we've systematically removed God from our schools," Huckabee said on Fox News. "Should we be so surprised that schools have become such a place of carnage? Because we've made it a place where we don't want to talk about eternity, life, what responsibility means, accountability."
"That we're not just gonna have to be accountable to the police if they catch us but one day we stand before a holy God in judgment. If we don't believe that, then we don't fear that," he said.
"People are going to want to pass new laws," Huckabee continued. "This is a heart issue ... laws don't change this kind of thing."
That's a good point, but I think there is another factor at work that explains why the affected individuals are almost always male - the lack of an Egg and Sperm law makes men feel obsolete and flawed and worse than useless. Feminism has long delighted in disparaging boys, with quotes like "a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle" going unchallenged for 40 years, and books like "Are Men Necessary?" sitting on coffee tables all over America. And then there are news reports about "The End of Males?" and "Death of the Father" that draw very little objection from the media but have a deep disturbing impact on boys, and meanwhile the only thing people seem to care about is helping girls. Sperm banks are celebrated as a way for women to have better healthier smarter children without needing a husband, and even if they do marry, boys are taught that they won't be the head of the family and will have to let their wife make all the decisions about their children because they are inept imbeciles. They are told they might be gay and it's just as good, or even might be a girl and it's even better! It's no wonder that boys are frustrated and lost when they are so completely disrespected and abused.
Enacting an Egg and Sperm law not only would resolve the marriage debate, end the war in Afghanistan, lower health care costs, and all the other things I have been harping on, it would help lower the despair and desperation of boys and reduce school shootings. The longer we delay, the more violence and war and suffering. |
