Pope urges opposition to Postgenderism

by: John Howard

Sat Dec 22, 2012 at 13:29:41 PM EST

God created male and female, the Pope observed. "Man calls his nature into question," he said, when he questions that fundamental concept of sexuality. Moreover, the Pope continued, because the "gender ideology" seeks to make every individual completely autonomous, it destroys the understanding of the family as a community designed for the rearing of children. Again citing Rabbi Bernheim, the Holy Father said that in this radical new understanding of sexuality, children lose their own rights because "the child has become an object to which people have a right and which they have a right to obtain."

The Pope is right that being either male or female is part of what makes us human beings, and when Transhumanists set elimination of gender as a goal for post humanity, they truly destroy what it means to be human entirely. They admit this, obviously, when advocating for a post-human future.

In the same way, same-sex marriage sets a goal of destroying the gendered basis of marriage and reproduction, and destroys what it means to be married. These fights against postgenderism and same-sex marriage are both the same fight, and can be won with the same simple law that would keep us human and preserve equality and marriage: an Egg and Sperm law.

When we consider that the Pope also allowed room for Civil Unions that are not "juridically equivalent," he is really putting the Egg and Sperm Civil Union Compromise on a silver platter for us.

I read it and was proud (0.00 / 0)
I found the Pope's words enlightening and satisfying. He is the world's most important figure on such matters. Also, as I said on this site long ago, he rejects the very idea of "gender" and I agree with him completely.

The Pope did not intend his words to be satisfying, they are supposed to be motivating. We need to act! What side are you on?

Why, as a Catholic, I am on the Pope's side.

But there is little that means in the world of politics. So I would have been against the transgender bill this year on Beacon Hill.

Other than that, there is little to do in the political world here in Mass.

Are you kidding? (0.00 / 0)
Massachusetts is ground zero of where there is work to do. We have to end same-sex marriages and turn them into Civil Unions. The marriage licenses were given in error and should be voided, like marriages that were given in error to siblings are voided immediately. The error was that we hadn't considered the issue of conception rights and the costs and dangers of postgenderism and same-sex conception, and we do not approve of people trying to reproduce with someone of the same sex. Sorry to lead them astray, but the sooner the better, right Ed?
