Screw the People's Pledge, bring on the national ads

by: John Howard

Fri Jan 04, 2013 at 20:17:56 PM EST

So there is talk about renewing the People's Pledge over at BMG. If they are for it again, then we should be against it, right? And I'd like to see all the ads that we've been missing. The candidates limited the scope of the race to about three issues they "hammered" over and over, it'd be nice to have some more to chew on. And they are running for a federal seat, affecting us as Americans, and shouldn't treat the election like a local race. They should be forced to run a the national race with national issues.

Pretend you are Scott Brown. (0.00 / 0)
Pretend I am a reporter.

"Why are you against the People's Pledge this election? And, uh, wasn't that your idea in the first place?"

Person with the best answer gets to run for Senate.

Maybe he wants to do things different this election? (0.00 / 0)
What am I an idiot? why would I do that this time? Let the ads be shown, I can still get my message across, people will be able to use their brains.

"People's Pledge" helps Scott Brown in my opinion. (0.00 / 0)
I think he should be for it.

Helps him lose again (0.00 / 0)
It's unconstitutional censorship, I am having my rights to be an American and participate in American politics when they try to keep me ignorant and insulated from the whole Senate. The Senate is a federal body that affects everyone, it shouldn't be treated like a governors race.
