pro 2nd amendment rally @ noon this Saturday at the state house.

Law abiding gun owners in Massachusetts already have to jump through hoops to legally own a gun. Governor Patrick just announced a new gun control bill that would further punish legal gun owners, while doing little to stop criminals. Among other things, this bill would limit licensed gun owners to buying one gun per month, and would limit new ammunition magazines to seven rounds. Legally possessed magazines of greater than 10 rounds would have to be surrendered within a year.

Now if you're thinking that "nobody needs more than 7 rounds in their gun" I just want to ask why you think we are suddenly untrustworthy of more than 7 rounds? I don't believe that we should be collectively punished for what a couple of psychos did.

So if you value your right to keep and bear arms, and the related right to self defense, please call your state reps and try to make it to the rally this Saturday. If we do nothing, we lose by default.

Here are links to the legislation and the rally. I know this is short notice, but we probably don't have much time before the legislature starts trying to pass more gun control.

Can I bring my guns? (0.00 / 0)
Or should I just take my pitchfork, torches and protest signs?

We are headed for a 'Fiscal Cliff' and the country just elected a dope whose motto is 'Forward'.

I think a protest sign will do for now   :)
