We all know how there is a problem in Massachusetts with illegal immigrants! They are here and Deval Patrick wants to send them to college for free. That aside, here is my favorite story from recent news about one of our favorite little visitors. It appeared on Boston.com today:
BOSTON (AP) - Authorities say a Watertown resident already facing a charge of driving with a suspended license landed in more trouble when he tried to pay the fine with phony bills.
Prosecutors say 24-year-old Fernando Costa paid the $250 fine in Brighton District Court this week with two $100 bills, two $20 bills and a $10 bill, all of which turned out to be counterfeit.
A court clerk conducting tests on the money determined they were fake, then confirmed it with a nearby bank.
The clerk contacted police, and even though Costa had fled the courthouse, officers tracked him down a short distance away and arrested him.
Costa was held because he was wanted on an immigration warrant for allegedly being in the U.S. illegally.
How awesome is that? The guy is in court for driving without a license, and he pays his fine with phony bills! Then they find out, after he escapes the courthouse, that he is an illegal immigrant. How many other fake bills did he pass of before it was realized? How many other times did he drive without a license, and perhaps drunk, that we do not know about?
And guess what will likely happen to him once Deval Patrick gets his hands on the guy? Probably nothing! Or maybe he will punish him with free tuition, an EBT card and subsidized housing!
Time for Deval Patrick to stop protecting these criminals and start putting them where they belong - on a fast boat to 'whereeverthehelltheycamefrom'. Hey Deval 'terd' Patrick - we will pay your damn higher taxes when the money isn't being used to combat a problem that you won't address....Get the damned illegals out of Massachusetts!!!! |
