Video and Reaction from the MassGOP Chair Debate

by: mecowett

Fri Jan 18, 2013 at 22:50:30 PM EST

A YouTube video of the second half of the debate among the three candidates for MassGOP chair can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?... If I find a link to the first half, I'll be sure to post it here as well.

The twenty-four hours following the debate confirm my initial impression that Rick Green gave an excellent, winning performance. Since the debate, five of my colleagues* have announced their support for Rick, bringing him to thirty-three public endorsements from members of the state committee. To my knowledge, no other SC members have since announced their support for David D'Arcangelo or Kirsten Hughes, although Kirsten did receive the support of Rep. Brad Hill.

I very much look forward to continue working with Rick over the remaining two weeks of the campaign to explain why he is the best choice to lead our party!

*Helen Hatch (Fourth Middlesex), Sandi Martinez (Third Middlesex), Thomas McCarthy (First Hampden and Hampshire), Patricia Saint Aubin (Norfolk, Bristol, and Plymouthl), and Anthony Ventresca (Fourth Middlesex). You can find the full list here: http://www.rickgreenma.com/ric...

Full disclosure: I have publicly endorsed Rick Green and will vote to elect him chair at the state committee meeting on January 31st.
