by: BNCordeiro

Tue Jan 29, 2013 at 16:50:41 PM EST

Hope Hallet, a socially conservative activist & member of the Dartmouth Republican Town Committee, sent out this email to members of the State Committee earlier today.

I have tried to reproduce it as closely as possible and all emphasis below was in the original.  An document attached to her email is also reproduced below.

Please note that as a Dartmouth resident & RTC member, Hope Hallet is a constituent of mine.

Hello fellow MA Republican looking for a dynamic and enlarged MA GOP.

My name is Hope Hallett a registered nurse and longstanding Republican looking to lead the GOP party of Mass in the chair position even @ this late hour to increase our numbers both numerically and financially...recently read our entire GOP platform word for word.

Unfortunately I was hospitalized in January after a brief beginning in mid December but still want to participate in this run for the GOP seat. As a Registered nurse in MA for 34 years & husband who is a Vietnam veteran and retired government worker. We represent hard working middle class America.

BNCordeiro :: Last Minute Candidate for GOP Chairperson...
Hello fellow MA Republicans looking for a dynamic and enlarged MA GOP.
My name is Hope Hallett a registered nurse and longstanding Republican looking to lead the GOP party of Mass in the chair position even @ this late hour to increase our numbers both numerically and financially. Recently I took the time to read our entire GOP platform word for word.

Unfortunately I was hospitalized in January after beginning in December but still want to participate in this run for the GOP seat. As a Registered nurse in MA for 34 years & husband who is a Vietnam veteran and retired government worker. We represent hard working middle class America.  Both our daughters are Republicans and have been educated by our Mass educational system one as a lawyer & the other as a paralegal. I helped with the Scott Brown Campaign and early on in the Baker campaign plus was a delegate to our MA convention.

We have had several ladies from different countries temporary live with us who legally enter our country for education & opportunity & got exactly what they wanted to begin their American Dream. I also firmly believe in the right to bear arms/ national sovereignty and am against 21

We are a red state but who would know...I was startled to learn only 11% of the republicans in Ma are registered...Anyone from any other state would never believe we are a red state let alone our own MA citizens as we are lead by Democrats repeatedly...we must get these likeminded to become proudly active in our party now. They value what we value. Our 4 prong value system
• Small business
• Job creation
• Family values
• Fiscal responsibility

As VP of the American Business Women's Assoc. in Massachusetts along with 6 other women we grew our organization from 8 to over 60+ members in 3 years. Presently I am the president of the Council of Women's Organization which is an 80 year old group and umbrella to 14 other women's organizations.   I have an on-line presence with Concerned Women for America sending out alerts to over 75+ people regarding national issues so we can intelligently call & remind our elected officials as to how we would like to be represented.

A town meeting member for 14 years in Dartmouth and activist going to the State House on numerous issues year after year which affect the people of Massachusetts I have had our value system @ heart. Last year I gave testimony in the state house along with other nurses & a pharmacist on my panel against Dr prescribed suicide...thankfully with the work of many organizations and targeted TV adds we held that issue @ bay with a 51 to 49 vote...preventing a disastrous bill with huge ramifications to ruin the fiber of our families from becoming the law of our land...

How will we change the tide in MA...by raising funds especially for local TV advertising of our party and candidates plus social media & live participation in all MA venues for TV interviews/ radio talk shows ...Donation dinners with engaging speakers/ a phone bank with Republican theme gifts for donors of any size. Covering lawns with elephants in a stampede instead of flamingo flocks like the lions club is a fun spirited engaging idea. ...Continuously using free press releases and free photographic coverage of each event in a timely fashion. Pictures which are truly worth a thousand words imprint or viewed by any techyscreen tool

We need to be sure our candidates support this system and have metrics to be sure they are doing their part to be elected. Wining seats is our biggest goal in carrying our the value system so these values are entrenched in our society in Massachusetts

General priority issues
• Education is fundamental and 9 of our cities have a failing school system
• Pro-active preventative Healthcare instead of draining our healthcare system with preventable illnesses
• Increasing forms of clean reusable energy'
• Organic farming
• Preserving farmlands and agriculture

(In the interest of full disclosure I have endorsed Kirsten Hughes for MassGOP Chairman)
