Daily Kos/Research 2000: Tie!

by: Mike "DD4RP" Rossettie

Mon Jan 18, 2010 at 12:54:02 PM EST

DailyKos/R2000
Scott Brown 48%
Martha Coakley 48%
Joe Kennedy 3%
Undecided 1%

This is the same polling firm that did the Blue Mass Group poll 4 days ago showing Martha Coakley leading by 8%.  The Rasmussen poll from 1/11 is the only active poll remaining showing Martha Coakley with a lead at +2%.

The Research 2000 polling company his a history of over polling Democrats.  Actual elections results virtually always have Republicans doing better than this poll shows.  I documented the history of this junk poll here.

MORE BELOW THE FOLD...

Mike "DD4RP" Rossettie :: Daily Kos/Research 2000: Tie!
The Research 2000 Massachusetts Poll was conducted from January 15 through January 17, 2010. A total of 500 likely voters who vote regularly in state elections were interviewed statewide by telephone.

Remember when Rasmussen came out with their poll on 1/4 showing Coakley up by +9%?

Remember all the screams of outlandish bias coming from the left?

Good times, good times.

Active Polls:
Daily Kos/R2000: Tie
PJM/CrossTarget (R): Brown +10
PPP (D): Brown +5
InsideMedford/MRG: Brown +10
ARG: Brown +3
Suffolk/7News: Brown +4
Rasmussen Reports: Coakley +2

List of poll over the past 10 days.  Older polls removes by more recent polls by the same firm.

PPP is a robopoll. (0.00 / 0)
Research 2k does live interviews.  Just thought I'd mention that.

Also, Research 2k is the same polling org that BMG did their poll with.

I agree (0.00 / 0)
but it also has a habit of favoring the dems

Compare Results. (0.00 / 0)
Compare their pre-election polls to the actual election results.  Do this for many races, not just one.  Those results will objectively tell you who has the best polling.

39% think ACORN will try and steal election. (0.00 / 0)
I just saw a poll suggesting that 39% of Brown supporters feel that ACORN will try and steal the election for Marcia Coakley of Massachusett'e's.  Another 38% are not sure and 23% do not think ACORN will try and steal the election.

Here it is.

Ed Markey is now the official 'cheapest' man on earth.  1.5 percent to charity while the average American gave 3 times as much...

Brown is ahead of tie then (0.00 / 0)
Look at the #'s. Very favorable to Coakley, more than any other poll so far. No way Coakley has 58% favorable, higher than Brown. Also, shows Brown's lead smaller among men, and Coakley's bigger among women. Also, no way Coakley leads with seniors.

It looks a lot like my prediction of............ (0.00 / 0)
Scott Brown - 48%
Marcia Croakley of Massachusett'e's - 48%
Dickhead Kennedy - 4%

With riots to follow......

Ed Markey is now the official 'cheapest' man on earth.  1.5 percent to charity while the average American gave 3 times as much...
